HELLENIC REPUBLIC MINISTRY OF FINANCE
The digital transmission on the Electronic Books platform - myDATA started as a pilot from 1/10/2020 for all businesses and for documents issued from this date onwards.
With a Joint Decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Apostolos Vesyropoulos and the Governor of AADE Mr. Giorgos Pitsilis for the activation of the myDATA platform, the degree of preparedness of businesses due to the COVID-19 pandemic was taken into account. In this context, it is foreseen that:
– For 2020, companies can only transmit the documents of the last quarter (October – December). The obligation to transmit proof of income for all of 2020 will remain only for businesses that will receive the electronic invoicing incentives through a provider for that year.
– The digital transmission of documents to myDATA becomes mandatory from 1/1/2021.
In more detail, from 1/10/2020, through the address mydata.aade.gov.gr:
– It is possible to register in the special interface of AADE (myDATA RESTAPI) for the transmission of documents through business management programs (commercial / accounting, ERP).
– The special form for registering documents is available for businesses with a small turnover or a small number of documents. Within November, these businesses will be able to issue their invoices and receive digital copies of them through the myDATA platform.
From Monday 5/10/2020 at the Taxpayer Service Center (KEF, tel.: 213.1621000) a special service and reception of questions for the Electronic Books platform - myDATA is also operating.
We invite all businesses to actively participate in the pilot quarter in order to prepare for the production period and contribute with fruitful comments to the improvement of the myDATA platform. "A great innovation, which was our programming commitment, is being implemented today. It is a huge step forward that makes business easier and changes their daily lives for the better. Our goal is to provide the best possible service to businesses, especially in an extremely difficult period", said the Deputy Minister of Finance Mr. Apostolos Vesyropoulos. "We managed, through difficult conditions and many challenges, to create a flexible and efficient digital service for businesses. We are starting as a pilot and we invite the market to participate immediately and reap the benefits", said the Governor of AADE, Mr. Giorgos Pitsilis.
