Purpose of the action "GREEN TAXI" is the promotion of electric mobility and the penetration of electric vehicles in the fleet of E.D.X. TAXI vehicles circulating within the Greek territory.
With the new program, TAXI vehicle owners are given the possibility of a subsidy for the purchase or leasing of a purely electric TAXI vehicle as well as the purchase and installation of an "intelligent" electric vehicle recharging point.
The subsidy (ecological bonus) amounts to a percentage of 40%, with the maximum amount reaching 17,500 euros and the mandatory withdrawal of a TAXI vehicle, being rewarded with 5,000 euros. Special care is also taken for the disabled, families with 3 or more dependent children and young people up to 29 years of age, with a separate surcharge for each category.
Beneficiaries of the program
All owners of TAXI vehicles class ElJR05 and older, based on the registration. Owners are those who hold the 100% of the vehicle's registration license. In the event of the existence of several shareholders on the license (co-owners/owners), the application is submitted by all the beneficiaries.
- Each beneficiary is entitled to purchase or lease a pure electric car with zero C02 emissions (BEV), per permit.
- Beneficiaries are obliged to withdraw and destroy the old TAXI vehicle. The subsidy amount for the withdrawal is included in the final amount of the ecological bonus.
- The start date of the eligibility of the expenses is set as December 1, 2021, from which the expenses related to the advance payment for the order of the vehicle are excluded.
Aid amount
- For purely electric cars (BEV) taxi vehicles the subsidy amounts to a percentage of 40% on the Retail Price Before Taxes (LTPPF), with a maximum amount of 17,500 euros.
- The mandatory withdrawal of a TAXI vehicle is rewarded with 5,000 euros.
III. The purchase of an "intelligent" electric vehicle recharging point, for installation in a domestic environment or in a company parking lot with private access, is subsidized with a total amount of 500 euros and is optional.
Additional reinforcements
In cases where the license is individual:
- For the disabled categories, an increase of 1,000 euros is foreseen in the amount of the subsidy for the purchase or lease of an electric TAXI vehicle.
- For the categories of families with at least 3 dependent children, an increase of 1,000 euros is foreseen in the amount of the subsidy for the purchase or lease of an electric TAXI vehicle.
III. For young people up to 29 years of age, who already hold a TAXI vehicle license, an increase of 1,000 euros is foreseen in the amount of the subsidy for the purchase or lease of an electric TAXI vehicle.
In the event that the beneficiaries based on the existing license E.D.X. TAXI vehicle is more than one, and each of them happens to belong to the above special categories, the amount of the surcharge to which he is entitled according to each special category is calculated based on the percentage, which corresponds to him in the existing E.D.X. license. TAXI vehicle.
